We have about 13 or 14 boats (probably still the biggest fleet......there were 2 out, Mike Mac on holiday, Mark on crutches, Andy not well, Woodsy..??, Simon thought it too light (!) etc, etc: I have a Solo as well for a while (nationals at HISC this year), and since i had not finished replacing the slot gasket on the 100 and there were so many visiting solos from the frozen north, I thought it rude not to get thrashed by them (and duly was!) challenging day as Mozzy said, but good fun, and great to see so many visitors. Had there been wind I guess there would have been another 15/20 boats.

I've never sailed a flying fifteen, but I've noticed them not exactly hanging about upwind?
Relative to conventional dinghies that is, skiffs planing upwind excepted!
