how hard are 29ers to sail?

   No not too hard. You'll get wet a bit. But I'd put the more experienced ( confident at trapezing ) sailor on the wire (crew takes the main sheet upwind) to start with. In skiffs the crew really drives the boat. The girl at the back just has to waggle the sticky thing vaguely in the right direction. The crew has all the power and does all the jumping around, steering the boat with weight and balancing bit.

	You might start of swimming but the open training are ment to get you going quickly in a short space of time. They are different to sail than 420s as are only stable when going quickly they require good teamwork and once that is mastered you should be fine. Although it also depends on your weight as when it gets windy if you are to light it will be a handful. Should be fun tho

	Are 29ers really hard to sail.... We are 2 15 year old girls and just want to know if we will find sailig one too difficult.... We have sailed some fevas rs500 (as crew) 420 (crew and helm) instruct in wafarers are we going to find it too hard or just REALLY FUN?!
