I'm looking for a large sailing dinghy that will take 6 people (mainly kids so a 5 person might do)
Please suggest any boat types you would recommend. If you have a boat like this then please reply. Thanks

Even a Wayfarer is pretty cramped with 4 smallish adults in.
If you really need 6 in one boat, maybe consider a Drascombe? They make a range of Dayboats. Our local Sea Scouts have some sort of Gig, which takes 6 or 8 and can be launched behind a VW Golf. What are you intending to do? Maybe you could try a few boats at sailing schools. Good Luck. |

Not sure if you need something immediately or what your budget is but the RS Venture seems to be purpose built for your requirements and I believe will be launched in the Autumn at the Southampton show. I've seen the Cad drawings and it looks very spacious...
