I think you will find the water is normally situated at the bottom of the slope Smile and is usually level (unless its v windy)

Note to self - don't ask questions in the banter section. You'll never get a straight answer! LOL
For those that may be interested, I have since heard that Datchet isn't quite full, but pretty good at the minute.  They also have some new investment in a floating beach / pontoon for launching, so I'll be pretty interested in seeing that.
