As part of tomorrow's upgrade, I will be setting up a basic stripped-down version of the forum pages, for mobile browser access.

I understand from past comments that iPhone and Blackberry users can read the main Y&Y site OK, so this new mobile version of the site will exist mainly for the benefit of smartphone users with smaller screens or browsers with limited capability.

We might not get it perfect first time, so please bear with us whilst we tweak the way it looks. It would be helpful if you could let us know of any major issues, of course.

BB OS 6 will be out soon, as long as you have a 9700, 9105 or similar model you'll be able to upgrade to OS6. 9300 or 9800 will be coming with OS6 built-in - this will have loads of web browser improvements..so forums etc should work better...

woo good. wonder if that will effect the BES software ver 4, which I use.

The forum works ok on an iPhone 4.  Reading it is fine, but sometimes it gets a bit odd when you're typing a message.  That might be my fault rather than compatibility though!

ExpertsExchange isn't well-thought-of in the industry. If you want a better serivice without the hassle then use stackoverflow.com or one of it's sister sites.

I can offer no advice on expert sex changes...

I have been working on the Y&Y forum upgrade for a month or two now, but there have been other issues more crucial than mobile access I have had to deal with first.
