Doesn't have to be for the Royal Yacht Squadron £100 Cup,
Louis Vuitton I'm sure would love to sponsor a match
racing event for the Js, and let's face it Js are a whole
lot more classy than the rather vulgar America's Cup
types, and who are going to buy more hand bags anyway?

Site it off Porto Fino and you would have the perfect
event.

Lovely romantic idea, but the chances are probably zero.

Anyway, although it costs stupid amounts of money I do think we need these events to push the boundaries of modern technology, design, materials etc..

As there is a growing fleet of J Class Yachts (see http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/?sa=1&article=1527 07 ) and an established current builder should they race for the AC again.

I think that would be a great sight.
