I need a Spinnaker housing chute for the jolly old Alto and have no idea
where to get one, I guess the closest might be the Laser 4000, but I've
searched all the usual suspect sites but there are no clear illustrations of the
said article.

I'll probably have to alter it to make it fit my Stainless Steel delivery hoop,
but with all the various crews and mixed abilities I'm now struggling with it's
fairly imperative that this bit works well.

Any Ideas?

Make a pattern out of a bit of polythene sheet and a marker pen and take it to a sail maker? or let them use the old one as a pattern?

Do you mean the sock, or another piece of hardware?

The sock, and there has never been one in the first place, so I need a laser
4000 type one.

Oh and red preferably.

With maybe black stitching.

And I'm thinking maybe that faux fur lining to help slide the chute in and
out easy..

Hmm. found a few and now I'm spoilt for choice can't make up my mind
which would look pimp.

Then there's zebra or tiger fur..

And what about this one for the Cherub folk, thank me later ladies..

You should have had a word with Nick when you were down testing the 100.

I guess the 500, 700 or 800 socks would work fine on the alto.

Have you thought about hand-stitched leatherette for the metal chute exit? This'll give the boat a 'classy' feel together with the velour zebra print fabric that you must inevitably choose for the sock. Any good sweatshop should be able to knock this up for you.

No-one could turn down crewing for you then!

Well I was kind of thinking exactly that mark but I was trending toward the
red with the black spots, 2nd down.

And I'll get that one in the tiger fabric you Pm'd me for done at the same
time then...
