If you are planning on doing many long distance races they are required on most of them now so a worthwhile investment.

Was jut reading the SIs and saw the requirement for flare packs for each crew. Does anyone know where we can get these? Are they availble to buy from the organisers at all?

What time is the start of the race on the Sunday? Does the website mean a 6-630 start on Sunday evening? Or is that for the curry?

If you are doing this and the Tek-Kat Round the Island regatta 2 weeks later it may be possible to leave your boat at Weston. Limited spaces are available.

http://www.weston.org.uk/site/prog/open.htm

Entry fee is £60....This includes the curry as advertised on the Saturday night and a Chinese for the sailors as you come ashore after the main event on Sunday.

Practise race is at 15:00 on Saturday
