Why don't you just phone around different places and ask who will take u on??

I did mine at sunsail.. all you have to do is think of a company and phone them. you won't know unless you try.
You could also try somewhere that makes parts of boats rather than designs boats.

i did, i wrote to loads of architects, graphic designers and journalists! - oh well at least my hours are ok- one of my mates is going to a farm working 6 till 6!

last year i went to work at emsworth shipyard and i got to go out in the solent on the big jin palaces to test the boats.
