The spreader bracket on my alloy mast has worked its way loose on one side and the rivet holes have become enlarged. I think you can get rivets which open up a bit like cavity wall plugs to bridge the larger holes. If anyone knows what I am talking about - can they tell me where to get them from.

Failing that - and subject to class rules - I could re-position the spreader bracket up or down an inch to make new holes. The question is up or down?

Failing that anyone got an bright ideas how to
a) secure the bracket to the mast when the existing rivet holes have become enlarged
b) cover up the holes so that the mast doesn't fill up with water and invert even quicker!
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

File the bracket holes out to match the mast and use bigger rivets would be my choice.
