Went down to look at my wooden contender today just to see how it was as havent been down since about christmas. Turns out that all of the recent rain was a bit too much to handle for the cover and the wood isnt looking too good. There seem to be a few marks on the deck. Whats the best way to sort this sort of stuff out as I had planned on selling the boat before all this happened

Get it in the garage to dry out, if you are lucky then the spots may jst disapear if not you may have to strip it back to wood let it dry out and then revarnish.  Does your boat have a breathable cover??

Advertise it now, and hope the new owner doesn't see it or blame it on the cold weather!

Seconding what Mark said!

I'm hunting for a Contender currently ... So may be able to make a reasonable offer!
