main track substitution an a 49er

Hi all! This is my first post here.

I would like to know if any of you has never tryed to substitute the main sail rubber track of the 49er mast. Our original track is broken at the heigth of the second main batten so I bougth the new track. The seller told me how to do it but it seem veeery long and diffucult  .

Anybody has some hints before I start the procedure?

Which kind of glue did u use?
