54 off the 116 fleet have retired.... The 2 leading 98 foot super maxi's are now out of the race. Konica Minolta launched of a 10 mtr wave, splitting the cabin aft of the mast. Skandia hit a sunfish damaging a rudder then the canting keel locked on one side.
