our freinds picked up a lizard type thing just like that but green and blue BNS, its called "swampy" and now lives on their cruiser edited for spelling Edited by mike ellis |

Amazing whats floating around out there....Hope to be down in Lancing later this year for a L2 open and a jolly good thrashing. Might adopt the "salty sea dog" as a mascot, tape it to the daggerboard so all can see it.

Yep, we picked up a hippo on the beach around that time. We often find soft toys as flotsam in Lancing, We gathered toy dogs, cats, teddies, little characters and even a lizard/gecko kind of thing, that's still kicking in the galley somewhere.

Someone found a stuffed toy dog on the beach last week and left it languishing on the club patio. It looked quite cute if a little thread bare so my wife took it home and washed it. It turned out it was one of these:-
