I have just been approached by our Commodore, asking me to vote on the latest Brexit petition, I was very annoyed, I go to club for a break.
I am thinking about asking committee to make it a suggestion that members leave real life at the gate.

I've always thought that leaving the classic taboo subjects at the door was more than wise. And as Brexit seems to be the most contentious subject for decades it just reconfirms the wisdom of making clubs a politics free zone.

Certainly agree.

Money, religion, politics not subjects to be discussed in any seriousness.

There is a need for some spaces to share a common interest.

Always thought that even what job you did, what strata of society, let alone political views, were left at the gate at most clubs. Given that we have all been screwed over, whichever way we voted, should leave Brexit firmly out of the picture.

Agreed, the way Brexit has been handled, makes the PYAG look like an efficient organisation.
