Presumably they wanted something that was striking design and a shift from the endless boring red/white/blue. I've always thought it looked pretty good. I don't think anyone would be in any real doubt about what country they represent.

Maybe it was cheaper to print using only 2 colours? After all, we know how strapped for cash the Olympic movement is.

Is it just me that thinks that the kit the uk team is wearing is wrong . I am sure the tech, spec. is fine but the union jack is blue, light blue and white. Our flag is red , white and blue and we are representing our country at a world event and yet our national flag is the wrong colour. Am i missing something here ?
