Just keen to know whether this is a class association competition write up or whether this is just an advert for a particular company?
Seavolution, the sponsors of the B14 Nationals must be pretty hacked off with this.....?? http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/183186/Seavolution-B14-Nationals-overall |

Oh right, I thought with all the links it was just written up by P&B. I realise Y&Y want to keep their advertisers happy but this seems excessive? Where's the links to the Seavolution site within the article?

Do agree it comes across as an excessive P&B fest.

Just the first one as a link might have been better.
Got the Minisail Champs coming up... Maybe I need to find a sponsor for my boat. Who makes ironing boards these days? |

Morning Doug, the link in the report has P&B as Y&Y have the link within their database. We are currently building a new website for Seavolution which as you can imagine is quite a big job when you want it to do what we want, i.e. retail, tutorials on how to sail certain boats through set manoeuvres etc. So it has taken longer than we anticipated but will be up and running very soon. When it is, we'll let all know
The class is vibrant with many teams gearing to the Euros at Rock in Cornwall at the beginning of September rather than Nationals
If anyone in the meantime is looking for information on the B14/B14 parts or non-B14 Seavolution parts, suggest emailing us on barnsieb14(at)sky.com We will then send you a full price list, or go to the B14 Sailing page on Facebook and go to files and the latest price list will be there Bye for now |

Funny really considering I had to rewrite a Farr 3.7 item because I mentioned Butler Boats in it several months back. Because apparently it was 'too commercial'!

Hi all
It's a good point and something we need to refine. We're constantly writing code to make sure our marketing partners get value for money and that links are well highlighted. One of the things we did about a year ago was make sure that when one of our marketing partners name is mentioned, it is hyperlinked - I think we need to add some throttling to this to make sure it doesn't happen excessively in a single article. This then combined with a change I made to the main site stylesheet which keeps hyperlinks blue rather than going purple when visited. We'll refine the code to try and keep the 'balance' right. Always good to get feedback on this. Cheers, Mark |

Er does anyone other than those who take part ever read any of these reports?
Honestly does anyone want to know who rounded first went left or right and got pressure through a lucky break? Wouldn't the space be better used with something useful like tech stuff or boat test/reports?
