To all the regulars on this rules forum I would like to say thank you.

Over the past few years I have contributed to the discussion here, and it has been invaluable experience in talking and arguing about the rules.

I recently received confirmation of my appoitment as an international judge. The time spent on this forum played an important role in developing the skills required.

Looking forward to many more years on Y&Y forum

Well, sometimes they agree!

Having people on here with great experience of the "other side" of the rules, is certainly an enormous help to all of us, even if sometimes I'm left scratching my head at the complexity, and especially at the bits were the rules don't quite fit with reality!

Judges never disagree - they do however, on occaision, struggle to arrive at a common interpretation of the rules!

I'd also like to echo this sentiment, can't say I've had much to say on the rules front but I've read most of the discussions avidly, lets face it if you don't know them, there's no way in which you'll ever know how to 'bend' them eh?

But in all seriousness, well done on the appointment Gordon and thank you.
