Are these any good? I see on the Mirror website they say to avoid. Is this really the case for club racing?

Probably due to weight and flexibility, I have a feeling they are very sound but wont win any races....

They were 30% heavier than a wooden one back then so now then will be even heavier. Bomb proof so ok for pottering but not for racing....get a cheap wooden one and pimp it
