but it will make me feel better.....
This is the second weekend in a row that I have had to cancel Saturday morning training - they are meant to be our 'get back out there' sessions. Next week we have a top RYA coach coming FOR FREE and no one is signing up......then we have a dI course everyday for five days, which promises to be really cold. The seond week of Easter holidays looks marginally better - let's hope so. I have an Assistant Instructor course to run followed by junior refresher training. Hypothermic child anyone? |

I'm more concerned about the effect on some of out wildlife especially Hedgehogs who are just emerging from hibernation. Compared to starving to death I think missing a weekend of sailing is pretty trivial.

Sat here wondering what to do this afternoon instead of freezing in a coaching boat.
Might go and buy some beer. Went up to the club today through the snow to check no one had been foolish enough to travel without checking it was on (no one had...) and found a very cold place indeed. And found the Rear com House up there trying to get the new heating to work... |

Today's Club Working Party cancelled, but not really complaining as fettling club hire fleet in this lot would not be fun.
Used time instead to prep some of the admin for our forthcoming B Moth open in front of a nice warm PC. 
Trying to work up some enthusiasm to sail tommorow but not getting far.. |
