For those that hope to attend the event it is still going ahead.

Unlike the rest of the Country, for once we have no ice or snow at this time and if the forcasts are to be believed although a little chilly there will be a good 4/5 from the best direction for us.

Those that have done it before will remember the dreaded mark zero!  It has been moved to to this side of the dam in sight of the starting box.  Soooooooooooo.............easy this year!

Please come or I am eating shepherds pie until July!

Any problems or help required my details are on the Club website.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Simon

I forgot to add.....................if travelling from the Taunton direction and you see Road Closed signs, they refer to a closure which is beyond the Sailing Club.  So go past them.

Cheers Simon

Simon,
I am 50/50 now, I was hoping to get out of work early today so i could pick the boats up from Oxford.  However, its looking unlikely that i will be able to get to the club now and the temp is making my eagerness dwindle.  Will try my best if i cant make it good luck.

its a very long pursuit race Dan, in fact about 3 hours. Right round the lake almost without exception, though I am disappointed with the mark 0 thing Simon, it was the only thing that has kept me in the race in the past. Your Punk should go well there
Everything I say is my opinion, honest

I would come if it wasn't so far, but I'd be choosing my boat carefully.  I did in the contender one year.  Never again.

But Wimbleball is a great club in a fab location.  As I said, if it wasn't such a long way....
the same, but different...

For want of enough sailing this year I'm planning on doing the beastie for the first time. Probably going to regret it in the 300, but it should be entertaining for some :-)
