Both events this weekend where won by an 18 year old and at Combs there where 5 helms under 30.

Somehow on this forum Supernova slip below the radar but surely they will share market space with D Zero? Supernova sailors really like their boats unlike Laser sailors who seem to say, "Yes but......".

Having recently tried a Supernova I don't think the target market is the same.

I found the Supernova a bit impersonal to sail. Combine that with very heavy sheet loading and I don't think it is the boat for everyone. Certainly not for me anyway.

I did manage to place it second in a handicap race on a course that would not favour the boat (lots of runs) so it does seem to perform but just didn't float my boat.

It would be easier to load the photos onto Flickr or another photo hosting site then upload the link to embed the photo

Right, I see the photos haven't uploaded- back to the instruction manual !!

How much??!!? OK it was back in 2002, but Craftinsure charged me about 70quid a year for the PlusPlus! Admittedly I had a fairly low value on it (what I figured I could sell it for) because there was no road trailer or anything and I reckon to largely self insure, but even so...

On the basis that " you can only sail one of the fleet at any time" do they give you a discount, Nessa?
Lets hope that the D Zero premium from Noble's is better than the £250 I was charged for the Punk boat, and nothing was paid out when it broke either. I 3rd partied it after that and underwrote anything else myself.
