How dare these people expect their local public park to be left available to them to watch the worlds most select sportsman enjoying themselves at our expense! Whatever next?! Just imagine having to stand next to someone with a pocket full of bagged doggie-poo while you watch Ainslee adding to his dollar-cred...

Are Weymouth going to see any part of the £55 x 4500 = £247,000 the Olympic people are getting, probably, but not all of it...

Unlikely. The purpose of the Olympics coming to London is to generate yet another opportunity for the fat cats to shaft the general public. And the fat cats will get very fat indeed with such a quantity of gormless prey to feast upon.

Looks like final approval for the pay-to-view site approved today...

Calls for a residents' protest at the entrances to the park once the restrictions have been applied! Or even a blockade! Now that would make the Olympics News worth watching!!

Here you go then. RS-X Ladies racing in the Olympic 'Viewing' area. Certainly looks like you'll get a decent view but it must be awful racing there.
