Not sure about d/h, but I have an inkling that he did a surprising amount of XC mountainbiking, as well as a fair amount of time on the road.
 
Cavendish was recently showing of pictures of his new bike- Specialized have given him a trials bike. he was busying altering his garden to make for better trerrain. he's clearly not new to that sort of riding- no Danny MacAskill for sure, but very much into goofing off.
 
Then there's Marianne Vos, who's won World Championships on track, road, cyclocross and cross country mountainbiking.

Nathan Outteridge is a good example of a top Olympic sailor sailing a variety of classes prior to the games.

Sadly we had to bail all day due to a leak, but 20+ people enjoyed a sail, some for the first time.

If we all bring our tool kits I am sure we can have a fitting out party on Friday afternoon and evening. But keep Dougal away from the beer until he has put the screw drivers away.

custom coloured windsurf board arrived... the perfect compliment to Solo sailing when it gets windy.
