An event where we all turn up with a new one-off or a much modded boat... love the thought of it, can picture the carnage in my head, but it was trouble enough getting a couple of dozen of us together sailing whatever we had handy.

My "moment" on Saturday was realizing that our glorious leader was trying to fit a unique boat that didn't belong to him into a foot wide gap between the committee boat and my Minisail. Normally, I'd have shouted a lot and allowed him to turn his steed into carbon splinters, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, not to Mark and the Punk, so I gave him some room and sailed myself into a hole instead... no good deed goes unpunished!

Not sure whether the Punk or the X1 was my favorite boat of the weekend - would love to get a chance to sail them both one day - it was all a bit busy on Saturday - too much chatting to do!

Next time, I'm hoping for planing conditions so the Minisail can lift her skirts, and more importantly, I can still have knees that work the next morning.

Well done Rodney, great weekend. Thanks Mark, for an endless supply of drink, and well done to Dan for winning every race in the awesome Punk. Good to meet you all, more next year please!

Thanks Rodney & Sue. A really enjoyable weekend.
Thanks Broxbourne SC too.

Good to chat with a lot of great sailors and hats off to Dan for blowing us all away.

Look forward to the next one!

Sounds like a good weekend, hope it doesn't clash with too much next year and a few more of us will try and make it. We had a long wait for wind today at Chew for the Top Club, but we got a couple of races in this afternoon.

Looking at the pictures I don't think I've seen Ian look so miserable, and I was trying to work out why as with beer on the table it couldn't be that, so this was the only thing I could think of....
