nah, all you need is a strong pair of arms to hold the boom like on a windsurfer - right? |

Early developments of the 49er had a wishbone rig. Would have suited you Grumpf...

yeah ... probably a bit tricky for you to have to think about matching mast bend to sail luff curve. Easier just to pull the outaul to the stops on the wishbone and just start air paddling... |

There you go, one wishbone rig on a dinghy, 1980's style. Not sure I'd back it against a 100 rig on the efficiency and adjustability front... Fun boat to sail, mind, when it isn't broken. |

My quest to be able to afford my new boat moved forwards one step tonight, just sold the laser that I am named after on this forum. Probably should change my name but i dont know my 100 sail number yet so can't do it now! |

Maybe come up with a username that doesn't leave you a hostage to change of class/sail number?

OMG.
How did you lift that lot up there Rushy? Must be two or three of you. And please tell me that's not a Volvo.. How many M/cylists will that mow down between there and its final destination? Has it had corrective work on the indicators (so they work opposite). I'm surprised there are no blades fitted to the wheels Edited by G.R.F. |

First time I've seen a car / boat on roof rack combination where the boat actually makes the car look better - cool even.
