From the first 2 SJ events i calcuated Laser to be 1114 and R 1146, close to what Rutland are using

Just looking at the results and the boat that caused so much discussion from the Stevie Nicks because of it's 'blind spot' is right up there
TBH - and coming from a 5oh crew, I would have wimped out - it just goes to show how versatile the 5oh is 5-35 kts, we can adjust the rig to suit.

Hi Andy, i'm using the rya spreadsheet that works out the mean of the fleet and anyone +5% from that it ditches. So i don't think i need to throw out the tops and bottoms. In my table I have far less counting results than the actual number of sailing finishes. But really only the Phantom has anywhere near enough counting results to be significant.

It was 20-24 knots but it was gusty......the gusts wern't so bad as the day went on.
