Lots of boats on the water - come and see for yourself.

There has been some weekend racing that members have organised amongst themselves. There will be more racing in the future.

There is rescue cover - the landlord has just bought two new safety boats

I'm curious, how many people are sailing there at the moment?
Is there any weekend rescue cover?
Is there any prospect of future racing?

Local talk is wrong , the sailing membership at Bewl is growing well

was it the term 'season ticket' which gave it away?

The concession that boats can go sailing on an inland lake without being accompanied by a flotilla of RIBs is progress indeed.

Racing is also taking place - the sailors are organising their own races, with safety cover in place

My understanding from the website is that its day sailing tickets with no safety cover and no organised racing. Which in turn means anyone who feels that these things should be part of a sailing venue should stay well clear.

Wrong I’m afraid. Fully open, organised safety cover for midweekers and weekend groups. Both day passes and season tickets available.
