What is the point; if you want to test your ingenuity why waste your money on a Laser project?

If you want to throw money as an idea then there are plenty of development classes that would welcome your ideas, why mess with the Laser?

I have hardly any money, so why not use the laser?
Thee are lots of cheap 5th or 6th hand ones lying around all over the place,

Because its fun... and for all its faults its not that bad a place to start for a lot of things.

What is now the RS100 started life as a modified Laser!

There have been some great Franken-laser  projects in the past - why not a few more now foiling has come into the equation?

Laser's very own Franken-Laser! Mind, being a Bethwaite design, there must be more differences than at first meet the eye.

Kites, trapezes, racks and foils have all been done using a Laser as a base before. As long as you can take them all off should you wish to go class racing then I don;t see a problem.....
