the works of Mr Rooster should be reviewed by all those struggling to get the bow down, without the bow going down..... it still makes me chuckle pretty much every weekend watching the rooster tails flying out the back as people saw away on the tiller on healed-to-leeward boats that 'won't bear away'...... failing that, have say 5 bear-away attempts in an RS300, that'll learn 'ya

Oh I can get the bow down without sounding the diving alarm, I am just getting used to the need to move back as i bear away. in the Laser it was not so ciritical. Not that it is an issue in the D-0 as it pops back out as soon as the weight moves after a few inches.

I think that's true, in full on wave conditions it never went right down the mine for me personally, because I was very well back and if it speared a wave it would always pop up, even if it slowed down a fair bit, but it was in quite spicy conditions in waves.

Kneewrecker, if you think thats downwind you have been sailing boards for to Long LOL

The wind was far enough round that they didn't really affect that much and there was a gybe away from them just out of shot. Perhaps a tad too much kicker maybe looking at the leech...

Leech looks a little hooked though lower down...just something to bear in mind for future. Always hard to see when you are in the boat though.

Shifty and gusty? I would use a bit less kicker with a bit of twist in the sail. To me, the leech is standing up just a tad too much for the conditions. Try it and if is doesn't work go back to what you've been doing

Looking like it's 7 days until my boat lands!  Out in the grad with the girl this weekend, which will be great sadly it's our town regatta and it sounds like the aero's from bowmoor are coming.  Would of been nice to race them, albeit so up very good sailors.
