   yeah you need to understand oneanother, the not needing to call tacks comes with parctice. But if they understand you and why you do/say thngs then its good.
also i find that they need to be willing to work hard, and have good concentration. If you are both willing to work hard, train hard, and both have a decent understanding of what needs to happen in the boat then you will go far.

	lol Yeah we are part of the too many crews group too. We have recently had an influx of cadet crews and not enough helms. boats arent a problem jsut no one to sail them.

	Lancing's on the West Sussex coast, half-way between Worthing and Shoreham. It's a small, friendly club, with very active fleets of Lasers (and Radials, 4.7, 4000 and L>>), Toppers, Contenders. 	well if i ever come in that direction il call by, if ever anyone comees into the lea valley just drop by our club and try out some sailing, tho unfortunatly most of the boats the club has to lend out are for kids.
