I've added the results link to the day one report - I'm loving the spelling of Nick Craig and his club!

Yes some of the translation is great!  I am really jealous,  Reports from the GB boys say that the chop is fairly harsh Gordon.  Given that most of them sail on the Solent it must be hard work!!

Or it says something about the standard of handwriting taught in British schools?

Looks like Nick Craig may be starting to get the feel of his new boat. looks to late this year, but boy oh boy next year is going to be an exciting one for UK D-one sailors.

By all accounts the British contingent at the D-One Gold Cup in Alassio had a fantastic time both on and off the water with some recovering from the Gala dinner on Sunday, the last day of racing.  The double point, non-discardable race at the end of the series turned the top 4 results around with early leader on points, Viktor Teply, dropping to 4th in the overall results.  Best British were Nick Craig, having set foot in his new D-One for the first time in Alassio, in 7th and Giles Chipperfield in 8th overall in this highly competitive fleet.
