jet boats are al right because they can be safer as a rescu boat there is no pupeler to mash you up or to go throw your sail

I think they're more than just annoying - most of the people who typically drive them (not all of them carshalton fc!!) havn't the first clue about basic seamanship or courtesey, and just terrorise the water for everyone else. The ammount of reports of jet skis killing people and crashing and sinking yachts is unbelieveble. There really ought to be stronger regulations brought in about the use of them - after all, we all have to have level 2 to take out a rib at the club, and that's for a decent cause... |

yer i know what you mean about the killing people and stuff but that is only the people trying to show off ect. i personaly like watching them on tv cos they can do flips and cool tricks!!

a small fact some may find interesting: at the time of transition from symetric to asymeteric the 18 footers were carrying 24foot spinnaker poles. now close your eyes and imaging gybing one of those and the 1500 square feet of sail that go with it |
