That's very kind Mike, but I probably wont, though if I change my mind I will be sure to let you know.

I think igrf that if there was a seat on rails across the cockpit I would be OK

That's even better, shame I didn't think of it.

Actually change the cup holder to beer holder and you'll be onto a winner

I would try Bishop Skinner, they sorted out the remains of TR13 with great speed and efficiency, couldn't fault them and you get to speak to people who understand our sport!

Yes they sorted me out early days in the D-One when no one had heard of them.  I think that Rodney had the demo D-One insured with them at the time, which helped.

GJW have the boat listed on their site (only one of the majoy few I have checked to list).

Rate seems reasonable too.

When my D0 arrives in a few weeks Noble Marine will certainly be on my shortlist. They've supported major dinghy sailing events up and down the country for as long as I can remember and provide a hassle-free service. Some years ago I was raising money for kids with cerebral palsy and cheekily asked them to donate towards my sponsored ski-ing challenge - all on the basis that I had a go-slow insured with them. Without hesitation they forwarded £100 and a sincere note of encouragement. It's nice to recognise there are some very decent companies out there whose philosophy isn't all take, take take.

I will use whatever insurer offers long term support to the class, be good if there could be a link up somewhere perhaps helping to support the first nationals ?  But I have always had excellent service from noble, heard some real horror stories about craft insurer and have had some good service from insurance4boats.

I have always had great service from Noble but their premiums got to the point where they were over double other providers who all had good reviews from other club members.

I had good service from craftinsure when my centreboard got damaged. Always good service from noble but expensive as Paul said. Now with gjw who are cheap. God knows what their service is like and I hope I never have to

I moved to GJW last year. Quick response when I broke my boom - no hassle.
