Although business team building exercises are, I suspect, largely *******, there is something to be said for the old "put 'em through hell together and they'll end up mates". And this is why I think you do get a friendlier atmosphere when Fred is not just someone in the Laser fleet the other side of the dinghy park, but also the bloke you were clearing away the bl**** brambles with last autumn, and Jane with the Byte is also the person who was painting the ceiling while you were holding the ladder and topping up the paint tray for her.

+1. I'm all for the homegrown industries and keeping it in the U.K. but when a competitive boat costs 10K+ I can understand why there arn't that many new ones being built. It's a shame really But I would buy shares in China boatbuilding factory.
