Experience with the H2

Thanks, I'm impressed you've sailed a 300, I found that a brute of a boat, also you have a Farr3.7, would love to talk about that as well, probably best not to in this thread, I can well imagine an H2 would be an improvement on them both racing result wise.
I was nowhere near but can imagine what it was like, wind over tide, nasty short chop, not a lot of 'rides' more like a moving egg box. Or did they take the course out in deeper water? I've only ever passed by Herne Bay, but it's not unlike the water at Whitstable which can get equally nasty, but there, tide dependant there are place to hide, back eddies to use, sounds like you had fun though which at the end of the day is what it's all about.
