Will you be testing the D-Zero at the Draycote demo Boatshed?

we'll look forward to your feedback (without jumping the gun, I found it's quite reminiscent of a 300 in the slippery dept, but obviously a hell of lot more stable / planted depending on your interpretation)

aero insurance is £75 with the carbon rig, so not sure carbon is seen as expensive these days.

I have a feeling that the OK has a rule that you cannot sheet straight off the boom.

I think you can sheet straight off the boom but you can't pump on gusts to promote planing. But if it's that windy, you'll want the purchase anyway. Dunno, prob talking bolx I was think more of those force 1 - 2 days where it is nice to be up front but still be able to trim the sail 1:1. |

you've been sailing wide boats Boatshed! Not sure on class rules, but in a Laser in those light winds (and I suspect the *eros too) just grab the effin' boom and pull it in windsurf-style!

it is if its a Finn or D-One. The latter is about £200 on GJW which is one of the cheapest out there. Not cheap when you consider the aero

I expect the D-One premium is higher because of the spinnaker. Perceived risk of damage due to downwind incidents? |
