In fact, just because we damn a boat for this or that reason is no reason to suppose that those factors will be critical for a buyer.

I've had instances where I've been up-front about what I saw as significant flaws, and the buyer has said something like "oh, that doesn't bother me", or "I've got a mate who'll sort that out in no time".  We all place different priorities on our boats (hekps explain the number of classes...)

When I was a teenager, the ability to go quickly up or down wind wouldn't have mattered.  Blasting up and down in front of the club on a Wednesday afternoon was the thing.  A poinging mast would have added to the drama!

yes... but as the concept is wave piercing i believe this is intended... I'd posted on there facebook page, wondering what happens to the kite tack with the amount of wave piercing this thing is going to do. And as it's not lifted clear by the raised angle of a bowsprit. How this is going to effect the mast, i.e pressurised inversion from the semi submersion of the kite?

yes, understand the wave piercing bit, but the angle of the boat at times looks likley to bury back to the wings...not quick Pinch

Yep the very last few frames look like that, don't they? Although from what I can see there doesn't seem to be much change in boat speed, it's just very wet. It is honking though.
