If the eps ever did become popular (which it never will) that would be Grumpys time to sell it....too much competition then?

Don't be ridiculous, everyone knows the standard issue sail wear is buttless chaps (inbuilt hiking battens or foam padding optional), funny I was only speaking to a company out at Kanumesse recently about the subject, Sandiline, apparently they already have some representation over here doing very well with a similar item of bondage for Finn sailors.. LOL

They are a niche company struggling to break into the major league, all manufactured in Slovenia or Slovakia, forget which, I met the owner, I'd been looking for a brand I could take in to kitesurfing whilst i was whiling away some time waiting for a flight and these guys make some really nice pieces, but at the moment they are locked in kayaks and a bit of sailing, sailing said I, what type of sailing? Finns said they and got a pit perplexed when I chuckled a bit, then they mentioned they had some fellow Romany working in England called Rodney, 'not Rodney from Suntouched?', by this time I'm laughing... I said I'm going sailing with him next month...Small World.

Hey! leave the EPS alone. Three years ago they had an inlands or nationals at Burton. I was there watching Bytes. There were at least six of them including one woman. There was one at West Oxford about seven years ago, one came from Scotland for a fast single hander race at Glossop about six years ago and there is a yellow one in the boat park at Glossop still.....never sails though. The class is not dead, just resting.

Jimbo the Sandiline kit is absolutely the dogs Bollox.  I have the winter hikers and they are without doubt the best hikers i have ever worn.  They are just about a year old now and show very little wear.  Bring your cheque book fella as once you tried them you wont be buying any other brand for a while!!

Apologies but just cant resist ripping the *iss out of anything Grumpy now sails.....
Seriously there is still one sitting up at Royal Tay YC and it used to be sailed very well by one of the members there who got into the class in its early years. Always goes ok but just looks a bit odd in my opinion with the funny wings. Good luck to everyone sticking with it.......
