you wont get a response Michael- the only RS100 sailors out of hibernation have flown to warmer climates for a while.

Excuse me Jimbo - I've been sailing mine all winter so far, but even I, occasionally, have a life outside sailing! But will I be doing any of the winter big handicaps - not a chance thanks

1st Jan, £100 first prize this year. bit of a no brainer for me. 81 boats to race at home or over 4hrs travel.  But still would will try and do one of them.  Can't have these D1's having the bragging rights :)
Tipsy series starts this weekend for 10 weeks, 150 boats entered last year (even with the ice) any D1's coming?

I doubt it mate why would they when there is the biggest handicap event series in the country going on at the same time? Bloody Mary Saturday, then Starcross steamer, Steve Nick and Tiger trophy.  Its pretty full on already.  L&L is also too far for me to travel for a weekly series, i am based in Gloucestershire!  next year we will probably join oxford for the Assym series there and do the Global warmup again.

We now have 5 D-ones commited to tomorrows Bloody Mary, not sure if its dedication or stupidity...Maybe a bit of both!!  4 may only make it onto the water as i am having probems with my back today, although i may pain killer up and give it a go.  If anyone would like to talk further about the boat come and grab me.

Also looking at setting up some more Demo days for March and Feb, so if you a couple of you are interested at giving one a go let me know via PM and we will sort soemthing out at your club or another near you.
