OK, so that result merely confirms what we already know: that on any reasonable average PY (looks like 575 was used in the B.M.?) and assuming a capable sailor, a foiling Moth will either win big-time if it's foiling or else lose ignominiously if it isn't foiling.

gutted i missed it really but i will be at the steve nic the 600s did well tho beating most of the bandit boats !

If you came off the water smiling, especially at this time of year, who gives a flying fu@k how 'well' you did or what dick-in-arse handicap they saddled you with. Well done for taking out a cool boat and enjoying it!

Yep great day's sailing.  And now they are managing the boat park it is not the nightmare of yesteryear.  Well done.  My 4 and 6 year old enjoyed the spectacle too!
