Sadly outweighed by the logistical, snot filled, sleep deprived clusterf**k that is switching around cars, procuring trailer accessories and packing the boat up tomorrow whilst dragging the kids around with me... Have a good one, but on that forecast I'm chucking in the travelling towel and staying local I'm afraid.

Oxford Blue entry closed at the 150 boat limit.

46 classes represented,  from 49ers to Toppers,  which on GLs represents nearly a two times performance differential.

The RS Aero 9 is the biggest class (16 boats),  with the Contenders and Radials next (13 boats each).  The *eros count for 35 boats combined for these new classes.  Double handers, 43 boats.

The entry list has a great cross sections of sailors,  with several class National and World champions present,  and of course many good club sailors.

For this season's GJW Direct SailJuice Winter Series so far, this is the second event from four where  the entry limit has been reached, with waiting lists.  The remaining events are filling up and a few have quite a restricted entry.

Hi,
good to see the entries have been filling up.
Can I have a minor whinge and say it would be nice if the yardsticks / GL numbers were in the results? Even actual times would be of interest to many of us who take a casual interest.
Ta,

Wow, impressive from the Aeros...25 entries altogether. And 10 for the Zeros not to be sniffed at. Might just nip up to Farmoor for a bit of spectating. Which fleet is gonna come out tops on the water? Could be a bloodbath!

Ta,

Will try and include more detail,  we usually manage to get the PNs in some where,  but some of the results tables are getting quite big :

I am really looking forward to see how the Aero range goes.  I have raced against 9s a few times now.  But never a 7 or 5, so looking forward to that.  Nt sure it will be a bloody bath.  Given its the Aero Winters i think it would make sense for them to have their own start.  I certainly dont want to ruin someones class open event by stuffing up their start.

Nah, it's the Oxford Blue, not a class event. Class events are just (very sensibly) piggy backing on it, but it would lose its meaning if the class racing took precedence.

Thats a bit wimpy Null! Reckon you need to have 'Aero Eater' in big letters down the side of the boat...make sure they all see it...charge around at the start being noisy and 'buzzing' a few. Come the start, none of them will want to be anywhere near you (nice new shiny boats) so immediately your away unencumbered at the start. Same crossing tacks upwind and encounters at marks. End result Zero's 1, Aero's nil. A statement needs to be made on the water and I reckon you could be the man to do it
