I'm pretty sure I just saw at least one Dart 15 on the entry list

Edit; Yup, 3 x Sprint 15s

Dogs are explicitly precluded (apart from guide dogs) in the notice of race.

The Alto's out of action, needs a refit and my crew is still poorly and not really experienced enough to deal with an hour and fifty five minutes of being trapped in a confined space with er dinghy sailors in various states of control.

I was thinking of EPS ing it but looking at the handicap advantage the laser has and the disadvantage the poor old EPS would have in the starting order, I feel I'd probably very quickly end up in a world of Merlin. So unless a Miracle happens by a Miracle sailmaker it's unlikely...

On that foggy year we were going slowly downwind trying to keep the kite working and suddenly I smelled pipe smoke, Condor Slice I believe (my late father was a pipe smoker). The smoke which was travelling faster than the boats indicated the approach of an old National 18 which passed us with the ancient crew smoking the biggest pipe I ever saw.

Did anybody here race it on the gale year when Viv Townend won it in a Fireball? Now that was something to see!

Here's the wind forecast... I hope it stays like this for the weekend but we'll see!
At QM the wind tends to be at the guesting prediction most of the time due to the reservoir being elevated :)

They do have Darts on site but there is no chance of launching a Tornado at QMSC, you wont get down the isles and launching is at a 45 degree angle.

On the launching note, it can be a little difficult for anything that is bigger than a laser but if you turn sharply 70 degrees or so once you start trailing the boat down then its not difficult, be careful on the edge as its a bit slippy.
On the launching note the last thing I heard was that QM are planning to get a nice new and user friendly launching area! :)

Don't be such a prat.  You're not going to win anyway.  I'll most likely be floundering round under 1020 whereas most clubs levy 1074, so I'm not going to win either, but at least I'm giving it a go.

MTFU!
the same, but different...

According to notice of race monohulls only, the three Sprint15 entries were from the Grafham Gp, unless you   select a particular event it shows all entries to any of the sailjuice events
