Sailing is a wet sport, you will get wet sailing a Finn in those sort of conditions to be fair.

quite true.... not sure that concept sounds so great in any boat mind.  I can't say I missed winter sailing this year, I must be getting older too ;-)

Funnily enough, I've been thinking of making my sailing winter only. No weed, full lake, cream of the salty sailors join in, nothing else better to do, and no late finishes.

I guess my programme would have to be rugby on winter Saturdays, training twice a week, inland winter sailing on Sundays, then sea sailing the rest of the year. Just where did those years go.
I think I favour white Ermm

Toby, come and get your boat wet on the tide. We never have any weed problems at TSC. Most of the CVLSC Cherub fleet de-camps to TSC for the summer months so just tag along with them.

you need to get some turn of the century Victoriana industrial graphic wrap... grow yourself a handlebar moustache and don a military costume from the set of Sharpe.  I can give you free samples to starch your collars, and of course you need to add a bit of pomp and circumstance to your first launch, ideally synced to a neo-techno beat for the full effect.

Then christen it Steampunk...

You'd look a total tw*t, but at least it would be original.

LOL I might have a go while it is at Hunts, and purple would be tempting to myself or Winging it....I reckon there is definitely a market for non seventies colours....

I think it will be left to Mr.Funky Monkey to produce the individuality, while Rodney keeps two colours and a firm hand on price and delivery Big smile
