we race on sydney harbour in the 12 with the 18's around pretty regularly. not on the same course but we line up often enough. the 18 is faster all the time except for downhill in about 10kts when the 18 cant pull 3strings. in those conditions we are marginally quicker to the bottom mark.
should point out that modern 14 are quicker than 12's to. i still think the 12 is the most fun though Edited by a_stevo |
