I remember babycham mike, all to well. It was my late Grandmothers tipple, along with sherry. Not really my bag to be honest event with rum.

Thunder road ... well I'd drink to that sentiment as well ! Forums can of course be used to air serious points but nobody should get too too serious when others choose to follow a different path or disagree .......
Now in the proper spirit of the forum do we run a poll as to the date of GRF's return date ? ..... and then one on the first topic tackled by said keyboard warrier ? Come on Greame ... we'll all miss you ! Incidentally the Halo main is exactly the same area as the D1's .. so mostly one for the larger helm. Matt was using the long mast version one made about 3 years back by Hyde at Southampton (as in the photos and spotted by the 'Craggy Island' fans). The current production one is slightly different, is by North, sits on standard Blaze spars now and like the D1 is both fully battened .. it is even made out of the same material ! The only real difference is it uses a stayed mast .... Mike L. Edited by blaze720 - 22 Sep 14 at 5:45pm |
