As you can see, I have the Superman type buoyancy aid if that would help, sadly that is however where the similarity begins and ends.

Perhaps we could invite (force ?) GRF out in one some time ...  he might be OK in the lightwind stuff I suppose ... er with suitable crew.  After all he loves the Blaze as well  Wink.  Bit like a love-sick teenager talking about his 'old flame' really 'sl*gs them off but still fancies them on the quiet .... jumped in (on ?) one soon enough at the forumites meeting did he not  ? ......

Remember - always apply the 'reverse rule' to the sayings of chairman Greame - they often make a lot more sense

Mike L.

PS ... might be a little 'too fast' for him as well if you want to continue the analogy a bit further.

I don't think you can fit two Finn sailors in a phone box Wink I'll be happy to help, see you at the Dinghy Show, I'll be on the Finn stand, Martin is coming down as well.
I would be more worried if we went into the phone box in tights and cape!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Greame

You are too predictable ....  ..... btw your phone box would be on the small side by a fair way now and I guess it would only available, of course, after the V2 and (Kent Chapter) EPS meetings  ! LOL

Thought a new thread was due.

Firstly, as a SMOD that is now in production, it didn't seem right that discussion was occuring on a thread with the word 'development' in it!

Secondly I guess it's about time a class association appeared.  Having spoken to a couple of key individuals involved with Icon's birth, not much has been done yet.

Thirdly by starting a new thread I can put key info in the first post which will be easy for others to find, rather than scouring 151 pages......

There is already a forum via a yahoo group - http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Icon-Sailing/

Some time ago Peaky started a website which can be found here - http://www.icon-sailing.co.uk/

Anyone interested in joining and/or helping out with the Icon CA please email me on ca@icon-sailing.co.uk

Finally, I'll be at the dinghy show on Saturday so see y'all then?

Mike B.
