Yes, same problem at GWSC this weekend. First opportunity to sail the boat. A whole day of handicap racing for single handers py>1001 as part of annual club champs event to be sailed and decided on the day and sod all wind forecast. May well just pop down and unpack the boat then go home and keep my brownie points powder dry for another day!

Jimbo, i have just sold my Carbon all singing all dancing road bike.  Purchased a lovely Titanium bike.  Should help my poorly back and really is a bike for life.  Its sat in my office winking at me.  Whispering.  Why drift around on a muddy ditch when we could go and smash some hills!!!  Only one answer really...Up early Sunday morning for a bike ride then off down the club to remember which way round my sailing boots go on.

yep, I'm feeling the need for some investment into some highly specialised lightwind windsurfing equipment.... that should ensure it's blowing its tits off all winter.

Agree with peakys logic. I would add two more which affected my decision to live on the other side 1. you know what (think southern ocean) 2. local movement to a fleet of one over the other.

Jo has a history of designing some terrific boats and I'm sure the Aero is another he can add to that list. But I just felt that it was more compromised from a pure sailboat perspective than the Zero. Those compromises are great for helping stacking, reducing weight, getting a volume mast manufacturer etc, which are all worthy design aims but not what I wanted. If I sailed at a club that had a dozen of them, I would certainly be tempted though!
