the boat is a foam sandwhich hull with a wooden deck. its my helms boat, he had an all wood one before it sunk. the boat is a narrow bow design and that was a fairly choppy open so we did well to come 8th out of 14.
600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it.

  Capsized, Inverted, mast grounded and boat heaved out of water in wave trough. Racing this weekend........Bu**er it.

Not the same league as some of the action shots ...... my 8 year old sailing in strong wind (F5) for the first time - much more fun than coming in for his supper!

I'd say that shot is well up with the the other action shots, Gareth, and proves that Oppies CAN be exciting, if you are small enough! Love the light on the water, too - very atmospheric.

i reckon the mast curve is beig exagerated by the sag in the jib. but its still pretty bendy.
