One and a bit friendly cherub sailors? What did you do to your crew?!

Anyway I will see you at SUSA and you can give me some tips on what to do with it. So far the winning suggestion is to re-model it into a bench!

Oh aye, strathclyde you say? They're a dodgy bunch. I hear Mr Reid can drink all of you under the table, with one hand tied behind his back, on one leg, whilst doing the difficult Herald sudoku upside-down. Is this true?

Bowman: "What the **** are you doing???"
Helmsman: "When I was sailing an Optimist in the Youth Squad they told me it was faster down the run with a bit of windward heel."

Been there done that, had the fun of watching my mate on the windward rail at the time have his automatic lifejacket go off trapping him on the rail

One of the few times the bowman can relax and know it's prob not his f**k up but was the stern's responsibility. I say relax in loosest sense of the word as you end up hanging on to avoid being swept off.

Yup, I have a clear memory of looking at my mate doing bow on a 44.7, sat in the pulpit watching the carnage as we tried to sort out the after effects of a really bad gybe in 30+kts, with this look on his face of, "well its your problem, what do you want me to do about it"

fun & games
